Boys in Bowties


We are geared up and ready to continue or mentoring program again this year in which we will shower our mentees with social and emotional wellness!

The Boys in Bowties mentoring group is an outlet for boys at Tara Elementary School to express feelings and opinions, ask questions, share experiences, learn, challenge themselves, and discuss issues or concerns about growing up as a male in a fun, safe, and creative environment. Our mentoring group will meet monthly and our monthly themes will include career and college readiness, nutrition, etiquette, peer pressure, self-image, self-expression, the importance of making first impressions, and service.
