And how do I feel about this new opportunity of being a member of The TARA MUSTANG Family!!!   EXTREMELY HAPPY!!  I decided to begin this journey by sharing the above quote because I am grateful, excited, and humbled for this moment to serve as your Assistant Principal at Tara Elementary School.

The key convictions as an effective leader are summed up in this firmly eloquent frame to be accountable, professional, impactful, intentional, and above operate with grace and character.  This is my commitment to you and the Tara Elementary Community as I firmly believe that TOGETHER we can change OUR world by effectively using the fleeting moments that we are granted in ways that make an impact, not only on our students, but also the community and, more importantly, one another.

My time in the classroom, district, and community has afforded me the opportunity to build positive relationships and partnerships with students, parents, educators, school and district leaders and many other vital stakeholders throughout Clayton County.  As I reflect on those experiences, there is nothing more rewarding than bringing the village together in order to raise the confidence and sense of empowerment in each student, educator, and parent so that they may ACHIEVE their fullest potential. I look forward to this opportunity to collaboratively serve students, parents, the community, and the district.
